My name is Joshua Treadway. Four years ago, a college friend asked me out of the blue to photograph his engagement. At that point I had an interest in photography, but no training, no real practice, not even a camera of my own! I managed to borrow a Canon Rebel T5, and started on my photography journey. 

Since that cold November afternoon, I've learned a lot about what it means to capture a moment. It's more than pressing the shutter button. It's more than understanding my equipment.

It's about connection. 

That is the essence of my work. Providing a connection for people to the most important moments of their lives. Helping them invest in memories that remind them of the most important connections they have in their own life. Photography is more than just getting pictures of weddings and people.
